Cease-fire! (or not?)
Bush: America will stay on the offensive… Syria and Iran sponsor Hezbollah… That is how I read the resolution, that is how Ms Rice reads the resolution…
America continues spreading democracy and fight terrorism.
Israeli Prime Minister Olemert promissed that he will stop Hezbollah rockets and that Hezbollah would be crripled, neither was achieved. Now is a time for diplomacy… And oh my God, the lebanese think they won!?
Nobody won and this fight is far from over. Israeli bombardments left Lebanon in ruins. More than 1000 lives ended. This was massacre against a nation broadcasted live. This war reminded me of “NATO against the Serbs” but that was child’s play compared to this. Maybe Vietnam or Berlin 1945? Yet Hezbollah leader claims victory!? Their victory is surviving 33 days of mindblowing destruction, victory overpriced in my opinion and they will have to confront international force or migrate further north. America will strike again through their pawns (allies) or with its own might and they already have named next targets.
